Thirteen local high school students were selected to participate as part of the 2023-2024 Teen Arts Council (TAC), a year-long, paid internship program at Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design. The internship focuses on contemporary art, museum management, arts program development, and community engagement.

The internship program begins with a six-week summer intensive that includes guest speakers and hands-on experiences learning about the museum field, careers, and programs. Throughout the school year, Teen Arts Council members will continue to assist in developing and implementing programming for teens, youths, and families. Teen Arts Council is made possible with support from the Kutya Major Foundation.
