For the second year in a row, Ringling College of Art and Design’s Film program was ranked among the best in the U.S. and Canada by MovieMaker Magazine. This year’s list, officially released on July 17, “The 30 Best Film Schools in the U.S. and Canada in 2024.” (The publication’s 2023 list included only 25 film programs, including Ringling College.)

In addition to the Film program’s state-of-the-art facilities—like the College’s 36,000-square-foot Studio Labs, which was the first commercial and academic film and post-production facility of its kind in the state—the MovieMaker article cites how well-prepared Ringling Film students are for the workforce in a variety of professions. The article also commends Ringling’s Center for Career Services, which provides Film grads (and all other Ringling alumni) with lifelong job and networking support.

Ringling’s Film program was also named 20th in the nation by the Hollywood Reporter in 2023 and in the top five for undergraduate-only programs.

MovieMaker Magazine was founded in Hollywood, California, in 1993 to offer insider information about the film industry to discerning audience members and filmmakers.
