Photo Gallery: 2023 South Korea Visit
Ringling’s President Dr. Larry R. Thompson traveled to the capital of Seoul where he was invited to speak with prominent members of the arts and higher education communities, prospective high school students, and the media.
South Korean students from Ringling College of Art and Design helped to install an impressive exhibition of student artwork which was on display at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. The exhibition included Ringling student work, information about the 13 majors, and showcased video reels of Computer Animation, Film, Game Art, Motion Design, and Virtual Reality Development.
Students and visitors alike enjoyed the exhibition at Seoul Institute of the Arts.
Ringling President Dr. Larry R. Thompson signed a memorandum of understanding with President Yoo Tae-gyun of Seoul Institute of the Arts.
President Yoo Tae-gyun showed Dr. Thompson around the institute.
Dr. Thompson and his team traveled to Busan to meet with students at Peniel High School of Arts.
Dr. Thompson met with the principal of Peniel High School, Jongjin Lee.
Ringling College hosted an Accepted Student Day in Seoul, South Korea for accepted students and their families.
Dr. Thompson, Dr. Jason Good, vice president for Enrollment Management and Marketing, and current Ringling students engaged in a Q&A.
Both current and accepted Ringling students and their families attended the successful event.
